"Horrific Experience with ABA Roofing – AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! I cannot stress this enough: AVOID ABA Roofing at all costs! Our experience with them was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. First off, they never replaced any rotten beams, despite it being clearly listed in the quote and paid for. Every window they installed was done incorrectly, and the membrane was not laid properly, causing extensive damage to our property. To top it off, they broke our back door, shattered the glass on the front door, and left both doors unlocked when they finished the job in January. We were in the UK at the time, meaning our house was completely unlocked until April – not just unlocked, the doors were OPEN! When we finally saw the work, we were horrified. Bill, the person in charge, came over and was nothing short of aggressive. He tried to bully and gaslight us, completely disregarding the opinions of our architect, structural engineer, or anyone else. He screamed that he was the ONLY expert and got in my husband's face, shaking with anger, screaming, and spitting. We were genuinely scared he might physically attack us. This company is not only incompetent but also unprofessional and dangerous. Save yourself the stress, money, and potential harm – steer clear of ABA Roofing! Updated Response to ABA Roofing’s Reply: It’s disappointing to see ABA Roofing dismiss legitimate concerns and attempt to deflect responsibility rather than addressing the issues professionally. For clarity: Rotten Beams: The Devis (quote) clearly included replacing damaged and rotten beams. These were never replaced, and photos provided to the décennale insurance expert show the extent of the damage. Old oak beams can be part of a 150-year-old property, but rotten, compromised ones should have been replaced as agreed. Velux Windows: The Velux manufacturer's installation guide shows that your installation does not comply with standard practices. The framing is inadequate, and there are visible gaps. Membrane Issues: Missing waterproofing membranes leave parts of the roof vulnerable to leaks, especially in the family bathroom area. This has not been disputed. Aggression: It’s disappointing you claim my husband was aggressive. Your behavior—yelling, spitting, and invading personal space—was witnessed and reported to others, who were shocked by your actions. Insurance Coverage: The décennale expert stated directly to my friend (who was present on-site as I couldn’t attend) that your coverage is limited. Whether this misunderstanding lies with the insurer or elsewhere, it is something they must clarify. This review remains factual and accurate based on the extensive issues we’ve faced. We’re happy to provide photos, emails, and correspondence with the décennale insurer to verify everything stated. Finally, accusing me of leaving bad reviews is irrelevant. I stand by every review I’ve posted—both positive and negative—and I write them to help others make informed decisions. Perhaps instead of deflecting blame, you should focus on addressing the legitimate complaints raised by your customers."

"If you need a roofing company that is professional and efficient that produces work of the highest quality - look no further than AABA roofing. Very open and honest with work they could do and work they couldn't, even offering to return my deposit when some of the work quoted for was not able to be done. As I'm based in the UK I was relying on Bill and his team to keep me informed of progress. I was a bit hesitant about not being there to oversee the work being done but the daily emails with several photos attached really puts your mind at ease.
